Little county in Ohio
Holmes County is home to the world’s largest Amish settlements, which draws many visitors to the county, which makes it very touristy at times.
Not to worry though, it is still a very quiet and quaint.
There is a lot to offer in Holmes county Ohio, much more than the Amish country. There is a lot of history to this little county too. It was named after Andrew Holmes, who was a soldier in the war of 1812, unfortunately he did not survive the war.
Holmes is also home to some of the most beautiful old victoria style houses that have been made into museums, and are open for tours.
